Fuego Chile Orange Chicken Burrito


More than 20 years ago, El Pollo Loco offered a "Fuego Chile Orange Chicken Burrito" that I thought (back then) was delicious. 

At our work holiday party, the chef made chile-orange baby-back ribs that everyone raved about. So a couple of days later, I took some of the leftover sauce and made a burrito with grilled chicken, Spanish rice, lettuce, and cheese. 

It wasn't very good. 

I suspect that the El Pollo Loco sauce contained a lot more sugar and that's why I liked it so much. 

And also, my tastes have changed in the last 20 years.
