Noodle O'Sheep and I were planning to go to lunch. She said I could pick anywhere.
I explained that I was eating as much Asian food as I could while in the SGV. She said that was fine.
I suggest three places: 1) Dumpling House, a Chinese restaurant only one block from her residence, where we had eaten a meal together more than 15 years earlier; 2) Panda Inn, where I have been eating since childhood; 3) New Moon Restaurant in Montrose.
"All of those sound good," she wrote.
So I chose at random and selected New Moon.
The wonton chips and plum sauce were delicious.
The cream cheese wontons were average.
The paper-wrapped chicken were great.
I had remembered this egg roll as being much better years ago. It was boring.
Noodle did not think much of her salad.
I very much liked the "Chloe Shrimp."
It was fun to catch up with Noodle and the food was not bad... but it wasn't particularly good.
I wish we had gone to Panda Inn.
