Two years ago, almost to the day, I ate here and told you this story on a different blog, so this time I will tell you the condensed version: More than a decade ago, I lived four blocks from Grimaldi's in Brooklyn. I walked past it probably 50 times and there was literally always a line down the street during operating hours. So I never visited.
It took more than a decade, but I finally visited their El Paso outpost in 2023.
It's fantastic pizza.
This time, I got "The Don": sausage, meatball, and pepperoni. With a little bit of basil.
