Brunch and The Game: Lavash pizza with leftover smoked turkey. It was, you may not be surprised to learn, 10x better than the DiGiorno frozen Thanksgiving pizza. (The first bite was a little too bland, so I drizzled Tabasco Sweet & Spicy sauce on top, which was a fantastic touch.)
Note 1: It's always fun to watch Ohio State lose. In almost two decades of attending football games at the Rose Bowl, Buckeye fans are in the trinity of most-obnoxious fan bases. I can only imagine the reaction of them after losing.
At home.
As massive favorites.
To unranked Michigan.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Afternoon snack: It's holiday season at Trader Joe's, which means several of my favorite products have returned to the shelves. Wanna take a guess how many of these I bought?
Note 2: This is the most athletic Notre Dame team I have seen in 31 years. Now, I don't expect them to do anything in the playoffs - the highest ranked team they have played this year is #20 Texas A&M (who just lost and won't even be ranked any longer) but they are still better than they have been in quite a while.
Dinner: Leftover smoked turkey sandwich in Alabama white sauce and BBQ sautéed onions, with sweet potato fries in smoky maple seasoning.
Dessert 1: Flan.
Goddamn, I love flan.
Dessert 2: Jello Temptations Strawberry Cheesecake.
I hardly ever eat dessert. If I want two, I'm gonna eat two.
What a great day.
