I had never been here, but I have been to the parking lot (shared with Albertsons) many times, and the restaurant has always been crowded. So I figured it was good.
"Yo, I got deuce-deuce!"
(This is an inside joke from the spring of 1994 shared by me and one other person.)
The chicken karaage was one of the best I have ever had.
And...
The spicy tuna crispy rice was the single best version I have ever had.
Ever.
So I was stoked for my sushi roll...
It sucked.
Oh well.
If the sushi roll had been great, this would have become my new favorite restaurant in Durango.
It's not.
But I will still go back for that crispy rice.
