The other night, a couple of friends were talking about how much they liked Domino's thin-crust pizza.
Now, I admit, it's certainly not bad for chain takeout pizza.... but it's nothing special.
There were 7 of us there that evening, including me, and none of the other 6 had ever eaten lavash pizza.
So two nights later, I made six different kinds of lavash for them:
They were blown away by how good it was.
(Just in case you want to know what kind I made:)
- BBQ chicken with BBQ sauce, cilantro, red onion, smoked gouda
- Roasted garlic and fresh basil, mozzarella, pizza sauce
- Pepperoni and green onion (The Mt. Etna!)
- Taco Bell Mexican pizza sauce, chorizo, hot & sweet jalapeños, cotija, lime cream drizzle
- Pastrami, mustard sauce, swiss, pickles
- Sausage, pepperoni, ricotta, bacon
