After three nights in Boulder, my plan had been to go to Laramie, Wyoming, for one night. I have not been and it sounds fun; I was planning to watch the Rams vs. Vikings at one of the many bars downtown.
But then Miriam asked me if I wanted to come over to her house for dinner with her and Callie. I had not seen Callie in almost five years and I thought: That sounds fun. Wyoming will be there in the summer - and probably even more fun.
(It was really cold in Northern Colorado, and well below zero in Wyoming that day.)
So I had the whole day to entertain myself before going to Miriam's house at 5. The first thing I did was look up gourmet markets in Denver. This is what I found.
It was very cool. The selection was smaller than I'd expected, but what it lacked in quantity, it more than made up for in quality.
