I Introduce Mexicans to Korean Tacos

 

I told two of the kitchen staff and one of the groundskeepers "I am going to make tacos for your lunch tomorrow." All three of them were born in Mexico and have eaten their fair share of tacos, so I could tell they were a little suspicious. 

What I did NOT tell them was that the tacos were going to be marinated Korean beef that I had I had bought at H Mart in Denver. 

In addition to cooking the beef in a pan, I topped each taco with radish salad - I wish I had bought ten containers of this, it was so good - as well as a ginger sauce that I made from scratch. 

All three of them were blown away. None had ever eaten any version of Korean food. 

"If you think this is good, you should have tasted what my friend Amy's mom made 16 years ago this week."
