Sunday

I have written many times that my two favorite months are July and October. My love for the latter is nothing you can't guess: the autumn weather, amplified at 7000 feet after having spent almost the entirety of the first four decades of my life living at less than 1000 feet. The Aspen trees exploding in color. The return of Trader Joe's apple cider donuts.

But mostly, it's the sports. College football, the NFL, and the MLB postseason.

There is literally something I really want to watch every single day.

And, with an NFL game in London Sunday morning, my sports-watching started at 7:30 AM.

BREAKFAST: TURKEY CHORIZO & EGG WHITE TACOS with LIME CREMA SAUCE

Yes, the Vikings are 5-0 now.

No, I do not expect them to do anything in the postseason.

We have seen this movie so many times now.

Maggie wanted my food. Hawkeye wanted Maggie's food. Neither got any.

LUNCH: HOT DOGS

One with BBQ sauce, slaw, and crispy potato sticks. One with pickle ketchup and pickle mustard.

Ka'imi Fairbairn kicked a 59-yard field goal as time expired to win the game for Houston. I was at a game at the Rose Bowl in 2015 when he kicked a 60-yarder to set the UCLA record.

DINNER: TURKEY CHORIZO QUESAPIZZA
I had leftover turkey chorizo from breakfast, so I made a quesapizza like the one I had at Fusion Tacos at Santa Fe Brewing Company a few weeks ago.

I mean, mine was much better, but you get what I'm saying.
