Random Road Trip Wrap-Up Photos

I could not believe how green West Texas was.

This was extremely expensive but was worth it. So good.

I mean, it's Texas. "Ethnic" is better than "Foreigner," I guess.

I was excited to save these for football season - I tried them two years ago and they are delicious. But the bag exploded on the climb back to 7200 feet. So I had to eat them. Which, I mean, isn't the worst thing in the world. But I wanted to save them.

This is no longer an actual posse - though it was once. It's now an event venue. But you never know in Texas.

The patio of my hotel room in Marfa was more than twice the size of the actual room. That made me laugh.

Turns out this isn't Danny Trejo. My mistake.

I once lived with a woman who represented hairstylists and makeup artists, often booking jobs for celebrities. Every time she mentioned Sarah Jessica Parker on the phone, she called her "SJP." I don't know why I found that so ridiculous, but I did, and I still think of it every time I see those initials. Anyway, this stands for "San Jacinto Plaza."

This was in a trading post in the middle of nowhere. It made me inexplicably happy.

So did this, even though I don't know what it is.
