Boulder

November in Boulder, Colorado. 

I wrote about this four years ago on a defunct blog, focusing on the deaths of three people I loved very much and the plethora of memories of them in this town in November. 

This will not be as somber. I will write their names once and then not again this weekend. Travis. Erik. Buckley. They deserve to be remembered and they are, but that was then and this is now. 

The essence of those writings all those years ago was that one November at the end of the last millennium was very possibly the happiest time of my life. After that magical weekend, I briefly considered returning to Boulder every November. 

But then life got in the way, as it has a habit of doing. 

Four years went by and I again visited Boulder several more times: in February... and September... and January... and October. 

But not November. 

Now I am going again with a list of places to go, some I have written about and some I have not.
