I have had plenty of Trader Joe's "Reserve" wines over the years, even the Platinum Reserve.
But I have never tried one of their Diamond Reserve wines, though I have heard stories about them.
They usually come out around the holiday season and in my memory I bought this last December.
It is the best wine I have had in 2023. Simply spectacular.
It was $20 for the bottle, probably the most I have ever paid for a Trader Joe's wine, but if I had been given this in a blind tasting, I literally would have guessed that it was a $100 bottle.
