$4.99 is a lot for a pasta sauce at Trader Joe's!
Of course, it's not a lot for a pasta sauce. A bottle of Rao's is 12 bucks at my local market. And I have enough respect for Trader Joe's that if they're charging that much, I know there's a reason.
I tried it on a meatball and thought it was delicious.
But it wasn't until I spread it on a lavash that I noticed how beautiful it is, with large (relatively speaking) pieces of basil in the sauce.
Roasted chicken and green onion. Spectacular.
I can't wait to try this on cheese ravioli.
