I was the first customer of the day and had to wait 20 minutes for them to fry the chicken. The payoff is that it was as fresh and hot as could be.
And the pickle glaze was fantastic.
The pickle lemonade... was fucking weird. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it tasted like half-pickle juice and half-lemonade.
I would get the sandwich again any time. If there were a Popeyes in Santa Fe, I would probably get two or three per week until the promotion ends.
But I will never get that lemonade again.
Ever.
